And Why You?

So tonight was the big housewarming party at 108 Claremont. We had a decent crowd here - about 25-30 folks split pretty evenly between Brian's guests and my guests. We had food galore including a great lasagna and eggplant parm that Brian's co-worker Dorothy brought.

It was great to see some folks that I hadn't seen in a while, including my old next-door neighbor Lenny (pictured with me below). I told someone it was like my going away party in 2002, except I am staying put this time! Dave said to me last night, "so, what, you have moved 8 times since you got back frm Colorado?" Sure enough, he was exactly right! LOL Just call me the nomad.

I do like my place here in JC though. It's a very large space, and my bedroom is nice and cozy. Next step is to get some living room and dining room furniture. Hopefully it will happen soon, but no rush. If we don't get it that soon, it will be another excuse to have a big house party.

Russ stayed over in the spare room last night, and today we got a chance to have brunch before he headed up to camp.

Tonight is the big Pats-Colts game. I already have my Pats lounge pants on and I have plenty of football snacks left over from the party. Anyone wanna come over and watch the game? LOL

Overall, it was a great time, and today is truly a day of REST. Right now, Brian and I are catching up on TiVo. We have watched some Simpsons and are watching the Jeffersons now. Lazy Sundays are the BEST!
